There are certain restrictions upon what can and cannot be posted on this blog. In order to be posted within the pages of this blog, any submitted stories must not feature explicit content of any nature. No racial, ethnic or religious groups may be discriminated against unless in a purely historical context; and even then pains must be taken to ensure no member of the group in question is offended.
So, with these rules in mind, send in everything you want; we'll put it all up if it meets the requirements, and soon others will be able to read what you worked to hard to write.

A Beginning
Every story has a beginning.
Whether it be small or grand, whether it comes upon a feasible setting or on the wings of impossible grandeur, a beginning is present in every single story ever written. A beginning does what its name implies; it begins things, gives life to tales untold and invigorates dormant fables. Beginnings are a crucial necessity to our world, as they lead the way for everything else; they pave the path that all else will ultimately follow.
As of now, another beginning has taken place: the beginning of Yes, We Write, a blog designed to bring you intriguing, different, and evocative stories from writers willing to submit them. Here you will find not only fiction of varying subjects and genres, but interviews with the authors that contribute and even critical opinions on many of today’s happenings. It is all meant to bring you something you’ll enjoy; whether it be to kill some time or to enjoy a good story or two, Yes, We Write was created with you in mind. Do with it what you will; if you don’t like it, forget the site and never visit it again. We don’t know if you’ll enjoy it, but we work on it in hope that you will. If you don’t, tell us why; the editor can be reached at jacklynchtds@gmail.com.
So what are you waiting for? Dive in! Enjoy yourself! Scrutinize, review, concede or disagree. Scroll through the pages, read our stories; enjoy them if you can, and if not tell us why you can’t. We’ll be waiting for your replies, your suggestions, and, hopefully, your submissions. Send them in! Join the creative community and help us publish something truly worth the paper it consumes. You are our source; our author, our community. Come be a part of our creation, and show the world that, yes, we write.
